In his speech at the seminar, Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out the purpose of the trainings organized for the council members and said, “You are the elected representatives of your city, your sector, you are opinion leaders. I did not appoint any of you, you are in the most democratic institution in Türkiye. There is a beautiful saying in our culture that the one who knows and the one who does not know are not the same. As opinion leaders, you are the ones who should know. First of all, you need to learn your own institution's powers, duties and actions well."

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the council members were given the task of protecting the rights and laws of the chamber members and their sectors, and that this would only be possible by closely following the problems of the members and lobbying the executive authorities at the point of their solution, “It is not necessary that you have the same opinion, but you need to get along well with the administrators of your city, mayor, governor, district governor, whoever there is, and establish a good dialogue.”

In his address to the council members, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity and said, “Do not marginalize each other. Understand those who think differently. Allah has created us all differently. We will all think differently. Then we will come together with common ideas. If you love each other, you will be happy.”
