Hisarcıklıoğlu thanks Mehmet Şimşek for ‘inflation accounting’

The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, thanked the Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek for his statement in the Anadolu Agency, “We have reached a new stage in inflation accounting. With the decision we have taken for small businesses, we exempt approximately 1.5 million income and corporate taxpayers from the scope of inflation adjustment in temporary tax periods.”​

In a statement made on his social media account, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We would like to thank our Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mr. Mehmet Şimşek and his team, who took into account the demands and suggestions of our business world, which we expressed at the meeting we held yesterday on inflation accounting and before.”
