Speaking at the ceremony hosted by Metin Sakalar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Söke Chamber of Commerce and attended by Aydın Governor Yakup Canbolat, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated Söke Chamber of Commerce for its half-century history and successful work.

Expressing his pleasure to be in Söke, a city of agriculture, industry and tourism, Hisarcıklıoğlu said: “The fertile Söke Plain has become an important actor not only in Türkiye but also in international cotton markets. Today, Söke is known as the Cotton Warehouse of Türkiye with its success in agriculture and contributes to our national economy. Söke is rapidly progressing towards becoming a growing power center not only in agriculture but also in industry and tourism. Thanks to its railroad connection as well as its proximity to the port and airport, it is becoming an increasingly attractive investment center for industrial sectors. Another chance of Söke is that we have a Chamber of Commerce and a Commodity Exchange working to serve you in the best way possible. Today, the most powerful chambers and commodity exchanges in Europe provide services to their members at the same standard and quality as Söke Chamber of Commerce and Commodity Exchange provide services to their members at the same standard and quality. They have also been accredited. In other words, they have 5-star Chamber and Commodity Exchange status. I am also proud of them. I already work with both Metin Sakalar and Ahmet Nejat Sağel in the boards and commissions at TOBB. They represent you in Ankara in the best way. May Allah bless all our presidents who have carried out works that add value to Söke. I wholeheartedly congratulate our Söke Chamber of Commerce on reaching its 50^th anniversary.”
