Hisarcıklıoğlu, who made an assessment of the meeting on his social media account, said, “We held our TOBB Türkiye Education Assembly meeting with the participation of our Minister of National Education Mr. Yusuf Tekin. We discussed the problems, demands and solutions in the education sector, especially vocational education. We continue to invest in education, Türkiye’s future. We equipped 81 provinces with educational facilities. Within the scope of our “154 SCHOOLS IN 154 COUNTIES” project, which we launched under the coordination of the Ministry of National Education, 59 schools have been completed. 38 schools are under construction. 57 schools are in the project design phase. When all our schools are completed, we will have gifted 307 educational facilities to our country and our children. Our efforts are for our country and our children.”
- Minister Tekin emphasizes skills-based and education system
Delivering the opening speech of the meeting, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin said, “It was essential for our country to have a curriculum that is skill-based and that deals with the education and training system with a holistic approach.”
Stating that they had set themselves a goal to increase the share of the private sector in the education and training process in Türkiye to over 20 percent, Tekin said that they had taken a series of measures to fulfill this goal.
Emphasizing that they had been engaged in a very intense and feverish work since they took office, Tekin said that they had discussed some issues related to education policies in general.

TOBB Board Member Selçuk Öztürk said in his speech, “You are raising the future generations. It is of utmost importance that our children become respectful, moral and conscientious individuals. Our education system to be built on this; It is of great importance that it is stable, shaped within the framework of our national values, encourages the student to think, is applied and compatible with technology, in short, it is a part of life.”
