Chamber-Exchange member companies affiliated to TOBB will be able to apply for the TOBB Breathing Credit at Ziraat Bank, Halkbank, Vakıfbank, Akbank, Yapı Kredi, Denizbank and Ziraat Participation branches. The Credit Guarantee Fund will provide 80% guarantee for these loans with its own equity support. A company will be able to borrow a maximum of 2.5 million TL from this new TOBB Breath Credit. The loans will have a maximum maturity of 36 months with a grace period of 6 months.

Hisarcıklıoğlu: The biggest problem is access to finance

Stating that the biggest problem experienced by SMEs is access to finance, Rifat Hisarciklioğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), said: “The fact that SME loans do not increase in real terms reduces the working capital of companies. It causes the flow of cash and goods to slow down and the economy to shrink. This restriction of supply has a negative impact on inflation and makes it difficult to combat high inflation. In order to alleviate the problems here and to support SMEs, the lifeblood of our country's economy, TOBB, Credit Guarantee Fund and Banks have joined forces. We are launching a new TOBB Breath Credit next week to provide financing support to SMEs under favorable conditions. All companies that are members of the Chamber and Commodity Exchange affiliated to TOBB can apply. I would like to thank the managers of the Credit Guarantee Fund and all participating banks for their support and contributions.”

Özegen: We provide guarantee with our own resources

Erdoğan Özegen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Credit Guarantee Fund, announced that as KGF, they have provided guarantees for approximately 1.5 trillion liras of loans so far. Emphasizing that they have guaranteed 558,000 companies, Özegen said, “KGF is an important organization that is unique in the world. It consists of a structure in which TOBB, KOSGEB and 29 stakeholder banks are partners. In the TOBB Breath Credit, which we will put into practice in order to support the economic development of our country, we will guarantee the loans with our equity support as KGF. Our guarantee rate will be 80 percent,” he said.

- WHO CAN APPLY?

Chamber-Exchange member businesses affiliated to TOBB can apply for the TOBB Breath Credit. Applications start on July 8-9, 2025.

- LIMIT OF CREDIT

A company will be able to use a maximum of 2.5 million TL credit from the TOBB Breath Credit. The Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) will guarantee the loans with equity support.

- PAYMENT TERMS

The loans will have a maximum maturity of 36 months with a grace period of 6 months.

- WHICH BANKS WILL PROVIDE THE LOANS

Applications can be made to Ziraat Bank, Halkbank, Vakıfbank, Akbank, Yapı Kredi, Denizbank and Ziraat Participation branches.
