In a statement after the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We held our TOBB Chambers of Commerce and Industry Council meeting. We discussed the problems faced by the business world and proposed solutions. We assessed the difficulties of the real sector, primarily SMEs, including access to finance, the loss of blood in labor-intensive sectors, drought and water problems in agriculture, the lack of qualified human resources, and problems encountered in visa applications.
I constantly emphasize that in this era of increasing protectionism and global trade wars, our country’s production, investment, employment, and export capacity must be protected. In this context, we expect concrete steps toward solutions to be taken swiftly.”
