A new TOBB Breath Loan opportunity is coming for SMEs. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF), and banks have joined forces to increase the credit volume of the second TOBB Breath Loan, launched on October 2, 2025, to support SMEs, from 25 billion Turkish Liras to 50 billion Turkish Liras. Following intense demand from the business world, applications for the increased Breath Loan, resulting from TOBB’s initiatives, will begin on Wednesday, November 19. All businesses that are members of Chambers and Exchanges affiliated with TOBB will be able to apply for the loan.

- Terms and conditions

Businesses can apply for TOBB Breath Credit at branches of Halkbank, Vakıfbank, Ziraat Bank, Denizbank, Garanti Bank, Akbank, Yap Kredi, and Ziraat Katılım. The current conditions will remain unchanged for the increased credit volume. A company can use a maximum of 1.5 million TL in credit. The loans will have a maximum term of 36 months with no principal payments for 6 months. The credit will be provided at an interest rate of 33% for up to 24 months and 32% for over 24 months.

The first TOBB Breath Loan issued in July provided 30 billion TL in support to 23,515 companies. Thus, the total support provided to SMEs this year through the TOBB Breath Loan will reach 80 billion Turkish Liras.

- Intense demand

TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the biggest challenge faced by SMEs is access to financing, saying, “The most important problem I constantly emphasize is access to financing. In particular, the growth limit applied to SME loans makes it difficult to access credit. To support our SMEs during such a period, we have created a new resource. TOBB, the Credit Guarantee Fund, and banks have joined forces. Our goal is to stand by our SMEs in difficult times and keep the wheels turning. We launched the first Breath Loan in July. We provided 30 billion TL in support to our SMEs. We started the second Breath Loan on October 2. As of now, around 20,000 companies have benefited from this package. The credit volume of 25 billion Turkish Liras is about to be filled. In response to intense demand from our Chamber and Commodity Exchange Presidents and the business community, we conveyed our expectation for an increase in the credit amount to the relevant authorities. As a result of our efforts, the credit volume was raised to 50 billion Turkish Liras. Thus, the support we will have provided to SMEs through the TOBB Breath Loan in 2025 alone will reach 80 billion Turkish Liras. SMEs’ access to financing at the right time and at appropriate costs means more investment, production, employment, and exports, and therefore a stronger economy,” he said.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?

Businesses that are members of Chambers and Exchanges affiliated with TOBB can apply for TOBB Breath Credit.

WHEN DOES IT START?

Applications will begin on November 19, 2025.

CREDIT LIMIT

A company can use a maximum of 1.5 million TL credit from the TOBB Breath Loan.

PAYMENT TERMS

Loans will be for a maximum of 36 months with no principal payments for 6 months. The credit will be provided at an interest rate of 33% for up to 24 months and 32% for over 24 months.

WHICH BANKS WILL PROVIDE THE CREDIT

Applications can be made to the branches of Halkbank, Vakıfbank, Ziraat Bankası, Denizbank, Garanti Bankası, Akbank, Yapı Kredi, and Ziraat Katılım.
