TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu mentioned they, as TOBB Board of Directors, are in Gaziantep together for the first time. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated ''Gaziantep is a role model of unity, mercy and blessing in Turkey”.

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated:
“ I tell it to Turkey; if you take a city as a model, it is exactly Gaziantep. If you desire mercy and blessing, look up to Gaziantep. However, Gaziantep bolsters my morale whenever I come and see here. I travel all around Turkey, but I turn back with the high motivation and enthusiasm from Gaziantep.” 
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu who highlighted the increase in export by 26 percent, electricity by 15 percent, the number of insured employees by 16 percent, trademark and patent by 61 percent in Gaziantep from January to March, congratulated Gaziantep.

Hisarcıklıoğlu continued as folows:
“Turkey has missed the tendency, the world went through in 1991. However, we are aware of all now after the 2001 crisis. But we lost a 10-year period. World tends to be in the period of a new change and transformation now. Please know you realize it. You need to read and follow up political and economic developments in your region. Especially, it is really important for my Presidents of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges.”
World production has shifted to the east of Turkey with the last economic crisis in the world. And now there are only two countries that lead and grow rapidly in terms of production and exports: China and India. Countries that somehow related with China and India neither met crisis nor lost their management forces. However, countries that continued the old production perceptions not only lost production levels but also did not overcome the export crisis. Therefore, we need to focus on a field and new markets.

We are going to turn the Middle East into gain..

Hisarcıklıoğlu who highlighted that Gaziantep is very dynamic province, said:

“We need to focus on new markets. There is also a new political transformation in the Middle East. Is there any risk of that, yes there is. But we are going to turn the Middle East into gain. We are going to deflect the Middle East into gain but we will not miss some other areas. After the disposing of the mines in the Karkamış, entrance to Syria and Iraq will be easier. But firstly, Nusaybin border gate offers a new area. There is a great free zone for people in Gaziantep. There are great opportunities for investment. I appeal to people in Gaziantep, you shouldn’t miss these opportunities. Our main areas are Iraq and Syria. Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that there is no visa requirements between Syria and Turkey and Iraq Fair will be organized in Gaziantep.

Our aim is providing jobs for 200.000 people per year..

Hisarcıklıoğlu highlighted that our aim is providing jobs to 200.000 people per year with the Project of “UMEM - Beceri 10” .We give 15 liras for every day to scholars and we insure them.

Hisarcıklıoğlu: “UMEM Beceri10 is unique project. We give 15 liras for every day to scholars and we insure them and when they finished this education, you can decrease your premiums on employment 20 percentage up to 4.5 years. Gaziantep is the most successful state for this project. Gaziantep should claim more to this project so that industrialists can increase their competitiveness and people who don’t have job should get jobs. This is the most useful work.”
As TOBB, we are equidistant and we have same closeness to all political parties. Hisarcıklıoğlu: “We can’t have political opinion but we are at the side of people who contribute to our state and country. I’m at the side of Nejat Koçer. Because we are in close relationship for 11 years and we work together for taking Turkey to a step further.”
M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated Nejat Koçer who is a candidate for electing to the parliament.
İstanbul Chamber of Industry President Tanil Küçük, İstanbul Chamber of Commerce President Murat Yalçıntaş, Gaziantep Chamber of Industry President Mehmet Aslan, Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce President Adil Konukoğlu and Abdul Konukoğlu, Gaziantep Commodity Exchange President Ömer Çelik and Head of the Organized Industrial Zone Cahit Nakıboğlu also attended the meeting.
