Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The guest of   seminar series organized   by Fatih University Manec Club named “A success story” was TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu this week. Hisarcıklıoğlu shared his own career history with the students and answered their questions. He emphasized the importance of creating trademarks and said “There is grace and abundance in union, and suffering in separation, we will come together and find grace and abundance.”

-The spirit   of Entrepreneurship

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that armament in the world is not needed, armed forces should not be important for the states; the important thing is to give the spirit   of entrepreneurship to people. He said that when these feelings are acquired, there will be no need for armed struggle.

M.Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that “Turkey, between Japan and Italy, is capable of becoming the largest industrial state, and ranks as the 16th in the world economy.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that “We came here from the 27th rank. Have targets and never give up on them. If you   back down, it will be impossible to achieve your other targets.”

Fatih University students asked Hisarcıklıoğlu if he would prefer to stay as TOBB President or at TOBB University, his answer was that he would prefer to stay at the University Board of Trustees.
