-Credit Guarantee Fund

Drawing attention to the fact that the country’s economy grew by 8.9% in 2010, TOBB President stated that this brought Turkey into the top 5 growing countries in the world. “In order to maintain this growth we need to provide employment to the 3 million unemployed and 800.000 young people joining the work-force every year. The only way to achieve this is through investments and production as well as using the banking and finance sectors to assist in this endeavor. The amount credit used by small and medium sized establishments has increased by 46% in 2010. In this context, the Credit Guarantee Fund plays an important role. With the help of the Credit Guarantee Fund, many who seek to start their own businesses will have the backing they need which is not easily come by at present, granted their projects and aims are realistic.”

-The “Beceri 10” Project

The “Beceri 10” Project is a vocational training and ultimately a solution to the country’s unemployment. Hisarcıklıoğlu, “When a person enters a vocational course in the Beceri 10 Project, they are insured and granted financial aid for the duration of said course, at the end of which they are interned at an appropriate establishment. Once their internship ends we find them employment and also provide a 20% reduction on employment tax to the employer up to 4.5 years. This helps both the employee and the employer.”

At the end of his speech Hisarcıklıoğlu was presented a plaque commemorating the event by İsmail Güleroğlu, the president of the Çorlu Chamber of Trade and Industry.
