Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu who underlined that presentation of this day to children carries significant  importance and added: “We wish that children, who are the leaders of tomorrow, will grow up loving each other and strengthen the friendship and brotherhood ties with the children of the world.”

In his message Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu noted:
“Turkish Grand National Assembly established in 23 April 1920, has been one of the most important milestones of not only during the Independence War, but also right after the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey and during its journey of modern civilizations.
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who claimed that the sovereignty rests unconditionally with the nation, while laying the foundations of the regime that is the most suitable for our nation’s characteristics and that will carry us to the first place in the marathon of contemporary civilizations, has never forgotten that the future will be shaped in the hands of our children.

Presenting 23 April especially to children and the idea of sharing this joyous day with the children of other nations reflects our nation’s noble feelings as well as its perception of friendship and brotherhood, in the best way. 

As the Turkish business world, we believe national sovereignty; democracy will be more meaningful when it’s integrated with a strong economy. With this understanding, we work with all our efforts to carry our country to 10th place in the world’s greatest economies by 2023.  With these emotions and ideas, I would like to celebrate our nation’s 23 April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.”
