Hisarcıklıoğlu went on to say, “The most sublime feeling that makes our lives beautiful and gives them meaning is, without a doubt, love. As all humanity stands in accord behind this opinion, mother’s love is above all others. There is nothing purer and more powerful on this earth than the love in their hearts.

It is an undisputable truth that societies which do not attribute due worth to their women and mothers are doomed to fall behind in terms of civilization.

We also cannot confine our women to the role of mother. The truth is our women are so strong that they are able to overcome the difficulties involved with being a mother, taking care of home and their careers at the same time. They’ve brought abundance to the economy with their involvement as well as doing the hard work of being mothers. Our wish is that the number of woman entrepreneurs and workers in the business world increases and that the great strength of women who make up half of our population translates into added value for the economy.

The value given to women, their place in family life and significance in business life are realistic indicators for societies’ levels of civilization and development.

With these thoughts and feelings, on behalf of myself, The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and the Turkish business world; congratulate and salute all of our mothers, who deserve the best of everything.”
