Attending the 12th Turkish Speaking Entrepreneurs Certificate Award Ceremony, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu drew attention to the fact that for people to prosper, commerce needs to be developed, “We are all shaped by the same culture and history and we all share the same fate. We must bring our enterprising spirit to the fore and strengthen our partnership.”

Participants of the 12th TOBB Turkish Speaking Entrepreneurs Certificate Program, developed by TOBB and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to strengthen the ties between Turkish speaking entrepreneurs in the Balkans, Caucasia, the Middle East and Central Asia, received their certificates in the ceremony held in TOBB Social Facilities. Before the ceremony TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received Turkish speaking entrepreneurs from 21countries and 3 autonomous regions and listened to their views. The reception meeting was also attended by TOBB Board Member Ender Yorgancılar. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that one could go from the Atlantic to the Pacific speaking Turkish. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu went on to say, “We are all together. Our fates will be drawn together as well.”

Saying that the way to prosperity was through commerce, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated, “Commerce needs to be strong in order to enrich the people. These programs are so we can be closer to you. Turkey is the most important industrial giant between China and Italy. Our export ranges to 130 billion dollars and 92% of this is industrial goods. We would take great pleasure in joint trade. I can point to Constanta and Kirkuk starting trade as a result of these programs as an example. Trade with us as well as among yourselves. We must strengthen our partnerships. We must be in contact we one another.”

Inviting the guest entrepreneurs to join the World Turkish Business Council, Hisarcıklıoğlu informed them of Turkey’s economic structure and Its place in the world. “We don’t have petroleum or natural gas but we do have a great entrepreneurship spirit. We withhold nothing. As we grow, so do you, and as you grow, so do we.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu suggested that the guest entrepreneurs take an active role in the chambers of their regions.
