Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Permanent Representative of Turkey to the United Nations Ambassador Apakan in New York

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Permanent Representative of Turkey to the United Nations Ambassador Ertuğrul Apakan and New York Consul General Mehmet Samsar in New York for lunch.
The LDCs Conference, hosted by Turkey, was the subject of much talk; Ambassador Apakan thanked TOBB and stated that TOBB’s support in the implementation of the Action Plan which was accepted during the conference would be very important.
Hisarcıklıoğlu; “We tried to do our part during the conference in Istanbul. Likewise we will try to fulfill our responsibilities regarding the Action Plan.” Hisarcıklıoğlu went on to say, “As TOBB, we support Turkey’s UN Security Council Membership candidacy. We have started working to this end in all our contacts.”
