Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The visit, which took place in the TOBB Union Center, subjects along the lines of macroeconomic developments, economic reforms and the prevention of off the record were discussed.

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu brought up the recent economic developments and noteworthy matters in Turkey. Stating that the economic growth is encouraging and the registered number of employees has increased by 900,000 Hisarcıklıoğlu went on to draw attention to the growth as a result of increasing current deficit and internal consumption. Hisarcıklıoğlu restated his expectations about the Fiscal Rule in the coming term. Saying that the constitutional changes will be the driving for behind economic reforms, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the importance of forming a new Constitution.
