Hisarcıklıoğlu: “The targets of the attacks are the unity and solidarity of Turkey”

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his message regarding the terror attack in Başkale, Van wherein 3 soldiers were martyred and 4 were wounded, condemned the attackers and those who are hoping to benefit from it, and said “The targets of the attacks are the unity and solidarity of Turkey. Terrorist assaults against humanity can never reach their goals. Know this well.”
In his message Hisarcıklıoğlu stated;
“According to the information we have 3 of our soldiers have been martyred and 4 have been wounded in an assault which involved a grenade attack on an armored vehicle as well as firearms directed on another nearby military vehicle. The Prefect Bilgihan Bayar and his escort were also peppered with glass shards from the explosion and lightly injured while driving in the vicinity.
The ugly face of terror has no explanation in any humanitarian terms. Every bullet fired at our soldiers open wounds in the heart of our nation and the conscience of humanity. I want to state that the anguish of the Turkish nation on the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan can never be source of happiness or future for anyone.
On behalf of the Turkish business world, I pray for the grace of Allah upon the martyrs and present my condolences to their families and our nation and hope for the swift recovery of the wounded."
