Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The lunch, during which the Turkish - German trade relations were assessed, TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the importance of TATSO increasing and maintaining its activities. Stating that Germany is very important for TOBB, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they were following TATSO’s enterprises regarding the visa process between Turkey and Germany closely and providing the necessary support for the issue.

- Visit to the Ministers from the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Board Members of the Köln-based Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TATSO – TD-IHK) met with high ranking officials during their Turkey visit spanning Ankara, Kocaeli, Istanbul, Çerkezköy and Kırklareli.

Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board Members met with the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology  Nihat Ergün, Turkish Grand National Assembly President Cemil Çiçek, Minister of Economy Zafer Çağlayan, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız and the Customs and Commerce Minister Hayati Yazıcı in Ankara. The Board Members were then hosted at the Ankara Chamber of Commerce and the Ankara Commodity Exchange to participate in bilateral joint sectoral talks.

Visiting Kocaeli, Istanbul, Çerkezköy and Kırklareli, the Turkish – German Chamber of Commerce and Industry committee were hosted by the TOBB affliated chambers and exchanges in said provinces.
