Hisarcıklıoğlu touched on the subjects of selling real estate to foreigners and tourism as well. Stating that people should not be worried about the selling of real estate to foreigners, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I find this to be a positive development. When you sell a flat to a foreigner he is not just going to stick wheels on it and roll it away. Let them purchase real estate, it will be a source of income for us.” Stating that Alanya hosts 2 million tourists, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed the importance of opening up the Gazipaşa Airport to international flights.

Answering another question, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated the drop of value of the TL, while good news for the exporters, would reflect negatively on energy bills.

- Visit to the Alanya District Office and Alanya Municipal Office

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Alanya Prefect Hulusi Doğan and Alanya Municipality President Hasan Sipahioğlu in their offices.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that this was his first opportunity to visit Prefect Doğan in his office and presented the Prefect with a plaque to commemorate the occasion. The Alanya Prefect Doğan stated that TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu was one of the busiest people in Turkey and expressed his gratification for the visit. The TOBB President stated that Alanya has grown enough to become a province and was briefed on the developments in the county by the Prefect Doğan.

Visiting the Alanya Municipality President Hasan Sipahioğlu afterwards, Hisarcıklıoğlu exchanged views with the Municipality President. Hisarcıklıoğlu and Sipahioğlu presented each other with plaques to commemorate the occasion.
