Hisarcıklıoğlu toured the Elazığ Promotion Days Fair

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu toured the Elazığ Promotion Days Fair held at the Ankara Atatürk Culture Center. The fair, where local goods and produce from Elazığ are promoted, was organized by the Elazığ Governorship, Municipality, the Elazığ Culture and Promotion Foundation and the Elazığ Culture Foundation. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu visited each booth and received information.

Conducting a live interview on the Elazığ local television channel, Kanal E, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the Elazığ goods which could present an economic value be made into brands. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Elazığ has special value for us. Elazığ is the East’s rising value in every field and has many quality goods. First among these are marble, grapes and walnut products. Elazığ should finish the branding procedures for these as soon as possible. It is also very important that the Elazığ Promotion Days are held in Ankara. Occasions such as this help the economic growth of our cities. Therefore I’d like to present my gratitude to everyone who had a hand in organizing it; the Governor, the Municipality Director and Chamber and Exchange Presidents.”
Conversing with the members of the Elazığ Women Entrepreneurs Council, Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu inspected the hand made goods prepared by the women entrepreneurs with great interest. Greeted with joy, Hisarcıklıoğlu wore the hat peculiar to the Elazığ area presented to him and had pictures taken with the booth personnel.
The fair wherein the culture of Elazığ is promoted, Hisarcıklıoğlu watched the folkloric dance team that greets the fair’s visitors and toured the Elazığ Painting Gallery which displays the works painters from Elazığ.
