ADB Business Opportunities Seminar held

17.09.2020 /

In cooperation with TOBB and the Asian Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Business Opportunities Seminar (Webinar) was organized.

At the seminar attended by TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu, participants were informed by bank experts about the Asian Development Bank business opportunities and tender processes.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is among the world's most important regional development banks. Founded in 1966, 68 countries, including Turkey, are currently members, while 49 are in the Asia-Pacific region. Headquartered in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, the bank also has offices in 31 countries.

In order to provide new market opportunities to the Turkish private sector and to support the development of Turkic Republics in Central Asia, Turkey became a member of the Asian Development Bank in 1991 with the status of “donor country.” Since 1997, Turkish companies operating in the field of construction, especially in projects funded by ADB in developing countries of Asia, are able to provide materials, products, services and consultancy to the Bank's projects and offer proposals to ADB's tenders in this context.
