TOBB Cosmetics and Cleaning Products Council met at the TOBB Union Center to discuss the sector’s problems and present suggestions in solving said problems. The meeting took place under Council President Ahmet Pura’s lead and was attended by Ministry of Economy Product Safety and Investigation General Directorate Deputy Expert Muhammet Tahir Yeşilova who made a presentation regarding the Foreign Trade Risk Based Control System bill.​

İstanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters’ Union Board Director Murat Akyüz informed council members regarding the 2011 Cosmetics and Cleaning Products and Hygenic Paper products exports.

- Soap shelf life

Science, Industry and Technology Ministry Meteorology and Standardization General Directorate Scales Department Director Mehmet Tetik provided information regarding the shelf life of soaps as well as problems arising from the change in weight of soaps due to dehydration.

Council Vice President Gökhan Saraç talked about their work on Brand Protection Group.
