Accordingly, the number of products that the provinces can produce among the total 3,926 products registered in the TOBB Industry Database was determined. As a result of the analysis, which is an indicator of the variety of products that the provinces can produce, Ä°stanbul ranked first with the capacity to produce 2,621 different products, Ä°zmir was second with a capacity of 2,300 different products and Ankara was third with a capacity of producing 1,954 different products. Ankara was followed by Kocaeli with a capacity of 1,757 different products and Bursa with a capacity of 1,598 different products.

By compiling the data recorded in the TOBB Industrial Database, which includes the machine park, production, raw material and contact information of more than 90,000 manufacturers, which is formed by the combination of the industrial capacity reports prepared by the Chambers affiliated to TOBB and approved by TOBB, data analyzes are carried out for more than 4,000 products and the leading provinces in the industry are determined accordingly.
