In his opening speech, GÜYAD President Cem Özkök talked about the importance of the establishment of new Organized Industrial Zones (OIZ) areas and the use of renewable energy in these areas, while the President of the Turkey Energy Council, Zeki Konukoğlu, emphasized the importance of energy supply security in his opening speech.

TOBB Board of Directors Member Zeki Kıvanç stated that GES systems will provide a competitive advantage as they will reduce their carbon footprint in the coming period.

After the opening speeches, in the “Incentives for Solar Energy” session, PwC Company Partner Murat Çolakoğlu informed the participants about the advantages and incentive programs provided by the Investment Incentive System, the supports given for solar energy investments and the effect of the latest regulations, and the management of the incentive process.

In the second session, “The Musts of GES Projects,” Murat Karakeçili, General Manager of Elin, answered questions such as who can establish unlicensed electricity production and what conditions are sought, what the legal requirements are in the project preparation and approval process, what are the milestones in technical terms and, what stands out in efficiency.
