TOBB Board of Directors Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci reminded in his opening speech that the Turkish Sector Councils have been operating since 2006 and emphasized that the assemblies are the platform that brings together the public, private sector and sectoral non-governmental organizations on a legal basis. Büyüksimitci also thanked the Presidential Council, which undertook the work of the Council in the previous period.

As a result of the election of the Presidency of the Council, Altan Küçükçınar, Partner of Diffusion Capital Partners BV, was unanimously elected as the President, and Murat Onuk, General Manager of Arz Gayrimenkul ve Girişim Sermayesi Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş., was unanimously elected as the Vice President.

The meeting, where the general evaluation of the sector and the efforts planned to be carried out in the next term were consulted on, ended with the evaluation of the latest developments in the country and the world agenda.
