407 of the fairs organized were organized as specialized fairs, 6 as general fairs, 286 as national fairs and 127 as international fairs.

On a sectoral basis, the most fairs were held in the field of agriculture, greenhouse, animal husbandry and technologies with 61 fairs.

At the fairs, the total number of visitors reached 18,881,296, of which 845,091 were foreigners.

The highest number of visitors was seen at the fairs in the field of books and periodicals with 6,522,470 people. It was followed by exhibitions in the fields of agriculture, greenhouse, animal husbandry and technologies with 3,725,946 visitors.

A total of 56,306 exhibitors participated in 413 fairs. 13,184 direct or indirect foreign exhibitors took part in the fairs.

Looking at the statistics of the cities where the fairs were held, Ä°stanbul took the first place with 171 fairs, Antalya came second with 31 fairs and Ä°zmir took the third place with 29 fairs.
