“Ferrous and Non-ferrous Metals Sector is the driving force behind Turkey’s growth”

TOBB Turkey Ferrous and Non-ferrous Metals Sector Council President Dr. Veysel Yayan and Councl Member Uğur Dalbeler, Namık Ekinci and Çetin Kaya discussed various matters on the “Sector Councils” program on Bloomberg HT, moderated by Prof. Dr. Kerem Alkin and Ali Çağatay.
TOBB Turkey Ferrous and Non-ferrous Metals Sector Council President Dr. Veysel Yayan provided information regarding the Turkey Ferrous and Non-ferrous Metals Sector Council.
TOBB Turkey Ferrous and Non-ferrous Metals Sector Council Member Uğur Dalbeler stated that the sector is actually provides a primary resource for many sector. Dalbeler reported that Turkey has become the world first in the production of construction steel as well as having great potential in regards to sheet metal.
TOBB Turkey Ferrous and Non-ferrous Metals Sector Council Member Namık Ekinci reported that company delegations from the sector have visited 9 countries in the last year enabling and increase of 75% in exports to those countries.
TOBB Turkey Ferrous and Non-ferrous Metals Sector Council Member Çetin Kaya stated that the production of steel is an indication of development and that without the ability to produce steel it is impossible for a country to develop.
