In his speech at the Small and Medium Sized Establishments Development and Support Administration (KOSGEB) General Assembly, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Vice President Faik Yavuz stated that Turkey must provide the same business environment as its competitors as those who fall behind in global competition will surely fall behind in the global race. Stating that as long as equal conditions are provided, there are no countries with which we cannot compete, Yavuz said, “Becoming one of the ten largest economies of the world is possible through the private sector.”

Recalling that Turkey is one of the countries which recovered from the global economic crisis the fastest, and that it was one of the few countries which increased their credit score following the crisis, Yavuz emphasized the importance of the dialogue between the various actors in the economy.

Expressing his appreciation of KOSGEB at this point, Yavuz stated that the institution had taken important steps to diversify its services and actualize the industry policy.
