Türkiye-Turkmenistan TIR transports information webinar

Hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, a webinar was organized with the representatives of the International Road Transport Union (IRU) and Turkmenistan Guarantor Organization (Turkmen International Road Transport Association - THADA) for the TIR Carnet Holders of Türkiye.​

Information was provided on the practices of Turkmen customs and the advantages of the TIR System, including the TIR EPD application and sending a preliminary declaration, and the problems experienced by our companies in their transportation activities to Turkmenistan were brought to the agenda. Work will continue with IRU, THADA and Turkmenistan Authorities to resolve the issues raised at the meeting.
