The number of capacity reports approved in the first 4 months of 2024 decreased by 2.6% (458 units) compared to the first 4 months of 2024.

Of the 3,629 capacity reports approved in April, 1,005 were issued in Ä°stanbul, 280 in Ankara, 239 in Bursa, 219 in Ä°zmir, 182 in Konya, 142 in Kocaeli, 100 in Gaziantep, 92 in Kayseri, 89 in Manisa, 84 in Adana.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database decreased by 1.2% (1,134) from 96,664 in April 2023 to 95,530 in April.

According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 0.9% (35,952 units) from 3,941,619 in April 2023 to 3,977,571 in April 2024.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
