Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out the importance of relations with the USA and Turkey becoming a party to the TTIP to be signed between the USA and the EU would facilitate finding solutions to issues as well as developing trade.

- Cooperation will increase

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We’ve not only focused on Ankara and İstanbul, we have spread our activities to almost all of Turkey. Likewise, we’ve not only focused on Washington DC or New York but Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago as well. We will be relaying investment opportunities to both communities again this year.”

Stating that they’ve added new and promising sectors to their scope, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We expanded especially to biotechnology, tourism, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, communication technologies and venture capital. We are working together in regards to the USA and EU trade agreement. We put great importance to the inclusion of Turkey in this agreement.”
