Hisarcıklıoğlu re-elected as Honorary President of the International Silk Road Chamber of Commerce

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu has been reelected as Honorary President of the International Silk Road Chamber of Commerce at the 9th General Assembly and Board meetings of the International Silk Road Chamber of Commerce (SRCIC) held in Xi'an, China.
In a post-election statement, SRCIC President Lu Jianzhong said:
“M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, a very influential business organization, has been reelected as Honorary President of SRCIC.
We would like to thank M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu for his support to SRCIC since its inception.
We wish for further cooperation in the coming period. Turkey is a very important country along the Silk Road. It connects Asia and Europe. Turkey is not only a very beautiful country, it also has a rich history and culture.”
THE SRCIC consists mainly of national chambers on the Silk Road belt. The organization, is the first business confederation known by the Silk Road name, currently boasts 218 organization members from 82 countries.
