Speaking at the award ceremony hosted by TOBB Board Member and Tekirdağ CCI President Cengiz Günay, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they came to the city for good deeds. TOBB President said, “Today, we are rewarding our successful entrepreneur brothers. We are also opening the Mediation Center.”

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that unity and solidarity in Tekirdağ created a beautiful picture and emphasized the importance of public administrators being in cooperation and solidarity with the private sector.

“Cengiz Günay is my colleague in the TOBB administration and we are working together in Ankara.

It represents you in the best way in Ankara. At the level that TOBB has reached today, in its service capacity, it has great effort and contribution,” Hisarcıklıoğlu said, thanking Günay for his services.

Explaining the importance of the Mediation and Arbitration Center in his speech, the TOBB President said: “As you know, the long-lasting courts were one of our biggest complaints. With our request, mediation in worker-employer, commercial and consumer disputes has been made compulsory. Within TOBB, we launched the UYUM Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center. The use of the system has also increased day by day.

Currently, the number of applications to mediation across the country has reached 100,000 per month. And 70 percent of them ended up in a deal. Most importantly, the parties parted on good terms. Now you will be able to resolve all your trade disputes here, both faster and cheaper.

Today, our chamber is doing another good job. It rewards those who add value to Tekirdağ's economy, that is, the stars of Tekirdağ. Look, recently, we analyzed 90,000 producers and 4,000 products in the TOBB Industry Database. Tekirdağ has the capacity to produce 1,360 different products. Tekirdağ is in the first position in Turkey in terms of production capacity in 171 products.  Second in 165 products and third in 157 products On this occasion, I would like to congratulate all our companies that produce and invest in Tekirdağ.”

Emphasizing the importance of unity and solidarity, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “When you are one and together, Allah gives mercy and blessings. As long as we don't alienate each other. Let's not exclude anyone because of their opinions, their beliefs. Know that we can overcome every problem with common sense and dialogue.”
