Çanakkale Victory is the rebirth of a nation

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his message on the occasion of March 18th Martyrs' Remembrance Day and the 108th anniversary of the Çanakkale Naval Victory, stated that the Çanakkale Victory was the rebirth of a nation and said, “The spirit of National War of Independence is Çanakkale. Çanakkale is the spirit that brought spirit and people to the National War of Independence, laid its foundation, brought exhausted and tired Anatolia back to its feet in the War of Independence, it is the first sign of the rebirth of a nation.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu included the following statements in his message:
“March 18th is a very special day for our nation. This day is a declaration to the world of what we can achieve when we are one and together, and that we will never give up our independence. The fight of our ancestors here is an example both for us and for our future generations. We must not forget that we owe everything we have today to the belief that 'we cannot exist without our independence.'
On the occasion of this meaningful day, I once again commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and our saintly martyrs with mercy and gratitude. May the souls of our heroes be blessed.”
