Ezine Cheese became the 18th product to receive a geographical indication registration from the EU

The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, conveyed his congratulations for Ezine Cheese, which received registration from the EU. In his post on his social media account, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Ezine Cheese became our 18th product to receive geographical indication registration from the EU. Our first Turkish cheese registered by the European Union. Felicitations to our country. I congratulate everyone who contributed. I hope we will give the good news of our other products very soon.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the work on 45 geographical indications and 5 traditional product names, which are in the process of the European Union, continues.
