“May 2024 be the year of benevolence and success”

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), wished everyone peace and health in his message for the New Year. Emphasizing that they desire a world that is more prosperous and where all people can understand each other correctly, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I wish it to be a year of benevolence and success, full of beauty, abundant, strengthening the feelings of peace and brotherhood all over the world.”
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu included the following views in his message:
“Every period when the calendars change also calls for new excitements and hopes for people. We dream of a world where children will always laugh, where there will be fairer shares and peace will prevail. I hope that 2024 will be written down as a beautiful date that will not be forgotten.
The earthquake disasters that affected us all deeply, the inhumane attacks on Gaza and our martyrs set our hearts ablaze last year.
Our periodic difficulties in the economy will be overcome with the decisions taken by our government and the dynamism, export success, investment appetite and desire for growth of the Turkish private sector. Our growth figures are a confirmation of this.
For prosperity and wealth, we only need to use our conscience and reason, courage, trade and investment. I believe that if we do these things, bright and beautiful days will always belong to our nation.
On behalf of the Turkish business world, I wish everyone health, peace and happiness in the New Year.”
