Speaking for TOBB and the Turkish private sector at the meeting, TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay stated that the economic shrinking experienced in Russia is a temporary situation and that the involvement of Turkish companies in Russia continues unabated. Günay stated that it is very good time to be investing in Russia.

Russian retailer chains and food wholesalers conducted bilateral talks with Turkish food producers while exporters and representatives of chamber and exchanges held bilateral meetings with some Turkish and Russian companies signing cooperation protocols.
