The dinner was organized by TOBB in İstanbul and hosted by TOBB Board Vice President Halim Mete, attended by OECD Secretary General Angel Gurria and ambassador of OECD member countries.

Mete provided information regarding TOBB and its activities during his speech and stressed the importance of the OECD with regards to the scale of the global economy it represents, its approach to the global business community and the endeavors it undertakes in the economy and commerce as well as social and environmental fields; providing an environment of sustainable development through the implementation as policy by the OECD members.”
