The opening of the International Cooperation Platform’s “Regional Change and Development” themed opening ceremony, held on November 23-25 2011 at the Istanbul Conrad Hotel was attended by the TOBB Board Vice President and Istanbul Chamber of Commerce President Murat Yalçıntaş.​

Former Commerce and Industry Minister Ali Coşkun, Istanbul Mayor Avni Mutlu, TİM President Mehmet Büyükekşi and UİP Executive Council President Kerem Alkin made the opening speeches of the attended by approximately 500 guests from 41 countries.

At the Summit, the TOBB desk for introducing TOBB and its associated institutions to the guests garnered much interest.

Speaking at the dinner held on the 24th by TOBB, TOBB Board Vice President Mustafa Yalçıntaş stated that in accordance with new global opportunities stressed the need for implementing mechanisms for increasing our competitive power in local, regional and global markets.
