Healthcare institutions address issues at parliamentary meeting

TOBB Turkish Health Institutions Assembly, President of the Assembly in TOBB Twin Towers Seyit Karaca came to the presidency. Semiha Akdağ and Hacer Savaş, representing Social Security Institution, participated in the meeting as well as the Presidential Council and members of the council.​

In the meeting, the sectoral problems to be addressed in the Sectoral Economic Council of Turkey and proposals on these issues were discussed.

- Sustainable financing structure in terms of private health service providers is compulsory

It was emphasized during the meeting that the providers of private health services in Turkey are predominantly dependent on SSI in terms of financial resources.

Sector representatives stated that the planning regulations within the scope of "Regulation on Outpatient Diagnosis and Treatment of Private Health Institutions" dated 15 February 2008 and numbered 26788 constitute a problem in terms of private health institutions. It was emphasized that Article 24 of the Law on the Ownership of Houses No. 634 should be rearranged urgently.
