07.12.2011 /

TOBB ETU International Entrepreneurship Department and a group of students from the International Entrepreneurship Club attended the Young Entrepreneurs Summit held in Istanbul as a part of the 2nd Global Entrepreneurship Summit.

During the exposition at the Young Entrepreneurs Summit, to which approximately 150 guests from 20 universities and 10 countries were invited, the portable women’s shoe heel project, “CAGA”, was the center of much attention. The project was fully approved by the Youth and Sports Minister Suat Kılıç touring the expo. Kılıç talked about the project with the students for quarter of an hour.

TOBB ETU students also got a chance to talk with the USA Vice President Joe Biden. Biden asked the students about the International Entrepreneurship Department and stated that they would also like to establish a similar department.

The “CAGA” Project has been developed by Ceren Urcan, Aybüke Doğru, Gülizar Kaya and Ayşe Aygün to address the needs of women to use different kinds of shoes just by switching out heels on a single shoe, taking its name from the initials of the students’ first names. TOBB ETU was represented by Yusuf Berk, Seren Civak and Ceren Urcan at the Young Entrepreneurs Summit.
