As part of the Specialized Vocational Training Centers (UMEM) Ability’10 Project, the first Executive Council Meeting under TOBB presidency was held on November 30, 2011 with TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz presiding at the TOBB Şekif Tokat Meeting Hall.​

Labor and Social Security Ministry Acting Undersecretary Namık Ata, National Education Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Prof. Dr. Halis Yunus Ersöz, National Education Vocational and Technical Education Director General Asst. Prof. Ömer Açıkgöz and İLKUR Acting Director General Kazım Yiğit attended the meeting.
During the meeting information regarding courses opened in 81 provinces, attendees of these courses and their employment. The meeting, during which the introductory pilot presentation of the UMEM Ability’10 Project was made, the importance of the course managements’ taking a more active role in the promotion of the courses locally was emphasized.
Also, the activity plan of the project for 2012 was assessed, discussing what would need to be done in order to reach the goals of the project. It was also decided that new schools should be added to the scope of the project
