Specialized Vocational Training Centers (UMEM) Ability’10 Project Executive Committee held its last meeting of 2011 in the TOBB Social Facilities Conference Hall in Ankara.​

The meeting, held with TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz presiding, was attended by Work and Social Environment Security Ministry Undersecretary Delegate Namık Ata, İŞKUR Director General Delegate Kazım Yiğit, National Education Ministry Vocational and Technical Training General Director Delegate Ali Karagöz and TOBB ETU Rector Delegate Prof. Dr. Güven Sak.

During the meeting the results of the analysis of course attendant withdrawals conducted by the TOBB ETU and TOBB Real Sector Research, Development and Application Branch was presented by the TOBB ETU Social Policy Studies Center Director Prof. Dr. Serdar Sayan.

Prof. Dr. Güve Sak’s appraisal of the first year of the UMEM Project states that from February 2011 to December 2011, the number of unemployed who have received vocational training has exceeded 27,000.
