Information was provided in regards to ESCARUS sustainability consultancy during the meeting. ESCARUS is an important participant of the Industrial Development Bank as well as an important financier.

Highlighting the Chemport Project, the biggest problem in the chemical industry was identified as the absence of a cluster on an international scale and industrial park.

Next agenda item was information regarding “Registration, Evaluation, Permission and Restriction of Chemicals” (KKDİK) working principles. It was stated that there is an obligation to prepare chemical safety report, a safety data sheet and exposure scenario.

In addition, a presentation on “Environmental Legal Responsibility and Control of Soil Pollution and Revision of Regulation on Polluted Contaminated Soil” was given in regards to soil pollution and the problems of application and determination of pollution criteria.
