CERN Procurement Group coming to Turkey

European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), Procurement and Industrial Services Group officials will be visiting Turkey between 5th and 9th of March, 2018, to meet with Turkish companies preparing to enter into CERN’s tenders.​

CERN Procurement and Industrial Services Group officials will participate in the CERN Thematic Forum organized by the TOBB CERN Industry Liaison Office as a part of the 5th International Nuclear Power Plants Summit and Fair to be held in Istanbul on March 6-7.

In addition, information will be provided on procurements at the ITO Assembly Hall in cooperation with the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) on March 7th.

- Important task for Kızıltoprak at CERN

TOBB CERN Industry Liaison Office Representative and TOBB Chair Special Consultant Hakan Kızıltoprak, elected as Chairman of CERN Industry Contact Representatives in the elections held in September 2017, will take over the duty in March.

At CERN, established in 1954, Turkish industrialists, competing with companies of 29 member countries, won first place in 10 tenders with 9 Turkish companies in 2017. 3 Turkish companies have received orders directly.

In addition to our firms such as DORA Makina, ALBAKSAN, ASAŞ Aluminum, EGE / GEMA Industrial Control, TUFAN Iron and Steel, CRYOCAN Pressure Vessels, HMS Makina, FORD Otosan, NEV Vacuum Precision Casting, MİSTEL Kablo, MAPSİS Aviation, GÖZÜKÜÇÜK Makine and FİGABARA, 4 Turkish women entrepreneurs are also among companies which supply goods to CERN.

CERN is an extremely important reference for Turkish industrialists opening up to international markets.
