Turkey Maritime Council, holding the first meeting new term presided over by TOBB Board Vice President Tamer Kiran, elected its Council President and Vice-President. In the vote, Recep Düzgit, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Steamer Equipment and Agencies (VDA), was elected as the Council President, Mersin Free Zone Founder and Operator Co. Inc. (MESBAŞ) Chairman Ali Avcı was elected as Council Vice President. ​
