Venture Capital Council assessed the developments in the sector

Turkey Venture Capital Council held its first meeting of the year in İstanbul. Attending the meeting in addition to the venture capital fund directors were interested public and civil society organizations’ high level representatives.
A report of all council activity since the last meeting was made. During this time, briefing policy makers in regards to venture capital and the dissemination of information was focused on. Ministries were visited with this goal; problems of the sector and possible solutions were relayed to institutions. Special emphasis was made in regards to regulation regarding angel investors and funding funds.
During the meeting assessments regarding the investment delegation slated to visit Turkey from the USA as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Program.
