Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Born on January 07, 1968 in Tekirdağ, Cengiz Günay is the father of one daughter. He started his business life in the retail food sector in 1987 and founded Günaylar Food, Logistics, Warehousing, Tourism, Construction, Automotive, Industry Trade Limited Company in 1998 and is still engaged in this business in his business life.

On the other hand, Cengiz Günay served as Tekirdağ Sports Manager and Founder of Tekirdağ Young Businessmen Association. Günay was elected as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors in the Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce and Industry Organ elections in 2005, as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors in the Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce and Industry elections held in 2009, and while continuing this duty, he was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which became vacant on 16.03.2011. He was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors in the Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce and Industry organ elections held in May 2013, and was elected as a member of the Board of Directors in the 69th General Assembly elections of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) held in 2013.

In April 2018, Günay was re-elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tekirdağ TSO in the organ elections held in April 2018, and was re-elected as a member of the Board of Directors of TOBB at the 79th General Assembly of TOBB and renewed his confidence. Günay still continues these duties.
