Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Born in 1957 in İzmir, Ender YORGANCILAR graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Marketing and is fluent in English.

 

Mr. YORGANCILAR is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of İZELTAŞ, Türkiye's first and largest manufacturer of hand tools, which exports to 40 countries with nearly five thousand products produced in its giant facilities equipped with modern technology.

 

YORGANCILAR, who is also the Consul General of the Philippines, was awarded the State Order of Merit and Loyalty in his 15th year in office.

 

Since 1994, Mr. YORGANCILAR has been a Member of the Assembly at the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry, where he has served as a Member of the Board of Directors for 6 years, as the Chairman of the Assembly between 2005 and 2008, and as the Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2009.

 

During Mr. YORGANCILAR's tenure as Chairman of the Board of Directors of EBSO, the corporate activities carried out with an understanding of excellence in quality have been crowned with many awards. In 2011, EBSO received Akdeniz University's Environment Award, in 2014, KALDER's Aegean Region Excellence Award, and then Türkiye's Excellence Award. In 2018, EBSO was named the Best Chamber of Asia-Pacific by the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry, marking another first in Türkiye.

 

After a long time in the history of EBSO, YORGANCILAR, who renewed confidence by entering the elections for the 2013-2018 and 2018-2022 periods consecutively, without an opponent, with a single list, and was re-elected in the 2022-2026 period elections by receiving the support of industrialists, served as Vice President in the 2013-2018 period after the 69th General Assembly in the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, where he served as a Member of the Board of Directors in the 2009 (May) - 2013 (July) period, and became the first President elected to the Board of Directors of TOBB for two consecutive terms in the history of EBSO. 

 

In the following period, he continued to serve as the Chief Advisor to the Presidency of TOBB and Member of the General Administrative Board of TOBB, Chairman of the Board of Directors of various subsidiaries of the Union such as TOBTİM International Trade Centers Inc., MEYBEM Inc., Global Standards Supply Chain and Logistics Education Foundation of Türkiye (GS1 Türkiye Foundation), and also continued his work as Co-Chairman of the Trade Working Group of the Türkiye-Germany Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO).

 

On May 31, 2023, as a result of the 79th General Assembly of TOBB held on May 31, 2023, he was re-elected to the Board of Directors and appointed as Vice President for the second time and continues to work. 

 

YORGANCILAR, who is a member of the Board of Directors, Advisory and/or Board of Trustees in many NGOs, institutions, organizations and universities, who believes that he will repay his debt of loyalty to his country by serving the best and who is a member of the Board of Directors in many institutions and organizations locally, has been deemed worthy of many awards for his successful work and services in solving the issues of the industrialists.

 

He is married, has one child and one grandchild.
