Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Within the framework of the TOBB Employees Qualified Orientation Program, information was provided by Prof. Dr. Oğuz Ergin, Chief Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mehmet Uylukçu, General Manager, and İlhami Aktürk, Technical Assistant to the Secretary General, respectively, about the activities of TOBB University of Economics and Technology, TOBB UND Lojistik Yatırım A.Ş. and the Turkish Standards Institute.​

Within the framework of the TOBB Employees Qualified Orientation Program, information was provided by Secretary General Yasin Ekmen, IT and Business Development Manager Dr. Atilla Yardımcı, and Project Manager Yakup Peker about the activities of the Istanbul Arbitration Center, the Organized Industrial Zones Supreme Organization and the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey, respectively.​

Trainings and webinars targeting corporate, technical and personal development were organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey in the period January-June of 2020. In this process, 20,000 members, approximately 5,000 TOBB, Chamber-Commodity Exchange Employees accessed trainings and webinars.​

The ISO 17025 Laboratory Accreditation Training for the 78 commodity exchanges with laboratories have begun today. The three-day trainings will be conducted in two parts and will be attended by exchange directors as well as laboratory and quality charges.​

TOBB has begun Basic Quality Training for 144 chambers/exchanges which had not previously started their accreditation process.​

As part of the TOBB Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System efforts, “Basic Accreditation Training” was conducted at the TOBB Social Facilities Şefik Tokat Hall on the 7th and 8th of February, 2014, for the accreditation specialists beginning work at their respective chambers/exchanges.​
