Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Private Security Services Council came together under the chairmanship of Council President Serdar Gökhan Arıkan to make a general evaluation of the sector.​

The Ministry of National Education (MoNE) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Turkish Education Council organized the “Private Schools Turkish Century Education Model Briefing Meeting”.​

The third TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK) Western Black Sea Regional Meeting was hosted by Kastamonu Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Kastamonu University Teknokent Meeting Hall.​

Within the scope of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System studies, New Accreditation Standard Training was organized at TOBB on 22-23 August 2024 for the 10th-13th Term Accredited Chambers / Exchanges.​

A coordination meeting was held for the WP.5 work package titled “Training of Trainers and Pilot Applications” within the scope of the project carried out in cooperation with TOBB ETU and TEPAV under the leadership of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) published the 2025 Fair Calendar. A total of 356 fairs will be organized across Türkiye in 2025. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) has authorized the organization of 356 fairs next year, 111 of which will be international.​

In the first 7 months of 2024, compared to the first 7 months of 2023, the number of companies established decreased by 14.5%, the number of real person commercial enterprises established decreased by 31.3% and the number of cooperatives established decreased by 8.2%.​

“Capacity Report Expert Training,” which must be taken by those who will be assigned to issue Capacity Reports from the experts on the Chamber Expert lists, was held online on August 21, 2024. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Road Passenger Transportation Council convened via video conference with the participation of Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Board of Directors of TOBB, and under the chairmanship of Mustafa Yıldırım, Chairman of the Council, to make a general evaluation of the sector.​

The introduction and informative webinar on the “Green Transformation Support Program” and “Digital Transformation Support Program” implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology was held with the opening speeches of Gül Akyürek Balta, Member of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Board of Organized Industrial Zones, Mehmet Büyüksimitci, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, and Hakan Erten, Deputy General Director of Strategic Research and Productivity of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.​
